Bingo and Chinnis
The characters Bingo and Chinnis emerged in 2012. While they also surface within her more conceptually driven By Proxy series, they also exist within their own playful, narrative, semi-autobiographical framework—one that makes space for humor, levity, and emotional subtlety.
The works presented here include a selection of independent paintings, alongside the first eighteen paintings from an artist’s book currently in development. The pages contain a lighthearted metaphor, following Bingo as he confronts an unchosen and uncomfortable shift that ultimately leads him toward unforeseen contentment.
