Having experienced the power of art and the strength of community during times of significant personal adversity, Bretton is deeply committed to giving back. She dedicates her time and knowledge to support others whenever possible.

As a member of the Junior League of Greenwich and through partnerships with Family Centers and the YWCA, she leads art docent programs in schools as well as painting workshops that provide a creative outlet for women facing a variety of life challenges .

She also proudly serves on multiple committees at the Bruce Museum and the Flinn Art Gallery in Greenwich, Connecticut, supporting initiatives that enrich and expand access to the arts in our community.
